1. How would you describe your work?
I perform the structural engineering for industrial projects. This involves computer modeling, coordination with other disciplines, layout and maintaining quality and schedule requirements.

2. What are some ways that your work is a reflection of God?
God designed his creation with excellence. He cared about the details, was efficient and the result ‘was good’ (Genesis). I would like to emulate those characteristics.

3. How does your work provide insight into the brokenness of this world?
Working in a broken world means there are many challenges and ‘weeds in the garden’. This can include inherent difficulties with a particular project or the challenges of working with people, of whom we all are ‘broken’.

4. Jesus commands us to “love our neighbors as ourselves.” How does your work function as an opportunity to love and serve one another?
I can truly care and love my co-workers through God’s power in me. This can mean praying for them, being encouraging to them, looking out for their best interest, never gossiping and treating them the way I would like to be treated.
